This truck spent most of its life in south dakota. As a result, it has never been rusted out. The fenders and running boards were dented from use, so they were replaced with fiberglass versions. They can never rust now! In addition, the glass and bumpers have been replaced. The bed floor is plate steel. New bias ply tires were installed on painted wheels. The hubcaps and beauty rings are new. The interior looks great. The seat was reupholstered and the headliner and floor mat replaced. The flathead v8 starts, idles and runs great. The mechanical fuel pump works properly. It does not vapor lock. The engine sounds great through dual exhaust. The three speed manual is floor shifted. The rear end will allow 60-65 mph without abusing the engine. All features work properly. All gauges and lights work. The parking brake holds. The braking system was recently overhauled. It still looks good enough to take to local shows. The new bumpers look awesome. There is some delamination starting on the bottom of the door glass. The most recent owner drove it extensively last summer after making the necessary repairs to insure it was reliable. Trucks are all the rage now. This attractive and great driving truck is very reasonably priced.
